Calibrator 5 is a lyophilized blend of 14 recombinant mouse proteins: EPO, GM-CSF, IFN-γ, IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-10, IL-12p70, IL-13, KC/GRO, TNF-α, and VEGF-A. It was developed for use as an assay calibrator for MSD U-PLEX mouse assays that measure any of the included proteins. The utility of this product has not been evaluated in other applications. Individual analyte concentrations are provided in the lot-specific certificates of analysis. Calibrator 5 includes GM-CSF, IFN-γ, IL-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IL-10, IL-13, KC/GRO, and TNF-α expressed in E. coli, IL-5, IL-12p70 and VEGF-A expressed in insect cells, and EPO expressed in murine myeloma cells.
