The assay was validated with human CSF. The kits have been run with tissue culture supernatant, brain homogenates, stem cells, and cell lysates. However, we have not validated the assays for these sample types. Each sample type may require optimization of dilution depending on the conditions and experiments. The current protocol should work for these other matrices. A homogenous protocol could also be used for the Aß42 assay.
